Effective 27 October 2026
Removing data from your phone, deleting your account and leaving a list are separate actions. Here is exactly what each one does.
Delete data from your phone
Use the in-app option to delete local data. It clears health records, journal entries, experiments, sync state, preferences and onboarding information from the app’s private storage. It does not delete your account, your Health Connect data or data held by a connected provider.
Delete your Bodhara account
Use the account deletion option in the app. The app asks our server to delete your profile and everything under it (preferences, consent record, plan record, AI usage counter, and any community name, counts, invites and redemptions), and then deletes your Firebase Authentication account. If any step fails the app tells you and you can retry. On-device data is kept unless you also choose to delete local data.
If you cannot open the app, email sj@passthebot.dev from the email address on the account with the subject “Account deletion request”. We may need to verify it is you. Do not send passwords, access codes or health data by email.
Leave the community
Leaving a board deletes your display name and weekly counts from our server. Your account stays.
Leave the early-access list
Email sj@passthebot.dev from the address you signed up with and we will delete your sign-up record. Emails we send also carry an opt-out. We delete list records after 12 months in any case. I aim to reply to deletion and privacy requests within 30 days.
Provider data
Disconnecting a provider in Bodhara stops our access and deletes the connection tokens we hold, but does not delete data the provider holds. Revoke access in the provider’s account settings. Its own policy governs that data.
What is not deleted automatically
Revoking Health Connect permissions stops future access but keeps history already stored in the app. Uninstalling the app removes its local storage under Android’s rules but does not by itself delete a cloud account. Google Play purchase records are held by Google.
